In order to have a great child care program, it is important for providers to attend workshops. Community Coordinated Child Care is a leader when it comes to teaching adults working with young children. Our goal is to improve professionalism of teachers and the value of care for young children.

CCCC offers two types of trainings: On-Site Professional Development and Web-based (online) Professional Development.

On-Site Trainings

Our on-site trainings are held in a classroom setting (primarily at CCCC). Child care staff, directors and family child care providers can search and register for a workshop by clicking the "Click Here for On-Site Training" button below.

General Professional Development Workshops

CCCC takes the time to find out the needs of the early care community and of young children. Workshops are then developed to meet those needs. Our workshops meet the NJ Department of Education, NJ Office of Licensing and NJ Registry rules. We also offer continuing education units (CEU’s). Sample workshop topics we offer include: child development, learning theory, parental involvement, assessment and curriculum.

CCCC Quarterly Workshops

NJ First Steps Infant and Toddler Workshops

Infant/toddler workshops are offered through The NJ First Steps Infant/Toddler Statewide Initiative (NJ First Steps). These workshops are open to family child care and child care center providers and center directors.
